Air plants need airflow and occasional soaks. They are display companions for open arrangements, not closed ecosystems.

Why it works

Adds sculpture without competing for substrate space — but only with airflow.

Watering notes

Soak 20–30 minutes weekly, then dry fully upside down. Never leave wet in a closed jar.

Care tips

Mount with fishing line or nest loosely — no glue on trichomes.
Dry thoroughly after soaking.
Avoid copper-treated wood.

Common problems

Rot from sealed humidity.
Browning from underwatering in dry rooms.
Centre collapse after water trapped in the base.
