Miniature palm-like rosette whose leaflets fold at night or when touched — a charming wet-humid closed-terrarium specimen.
A small tropical herb from South and Southeast Asian wetlands resembling a tiny palm. Leaflets show touch and night folding. Wants bright indirect light, consistently moist substrate, and high humidity. Not the same species as Mimosa pudica. Mild toxicity / slightly poisonous notes appear in some vivarium retail copy — treat as do not eat; plant-only cases preferred.

Watering notes
More moisture-tolerant than average terrarium plants; pair with wet-loving companions. Still avoid completely anaerobic soggy sour soil. Keep substrate consistently moist; wilting often signals thirst (also folds naturally at night).
